Which Would You Buy?

They lined up all over the nation yesterday, and today online, to put in reservations for the new Tesla 3, starting at a $35,000 price.  The Tesla is pictured at the top;  the other car is a Hyundai.

If you want a Tesla 3, mark 2017 on your calendar as production won't even start until much later this year.

The chart at the left shows Tesla's stock action so far today.  It opened up about 7% and is now trading at half that.  According to Yahoo Finance, Tesla lost close to 9/10ths of a billion dollars in 2015.

That nice looking Tesla 3 will go, according to the company's web site, 215 miles on a charge, a little over 2/3rds of the way from St. Louis to Chicago.

Our guiding thought:  Never confuse the product with the stock.
