This Guy Will Move Markets Today

  1. Mario Draghi is an Italian banker and economist who succeeded Jean-Claude Trichet as the President of the European Central Bank on 1 November 2011. He was previously the governor of the Bank of Italy from January 2006 until October 2011. Wikipedia entry for Mr. Draghi
He just lowered rates in the European Union and said Europe's Central Bank would have an Asset purchase program.  Everyone has an opinion on this being Good or Bad but one thing is clear:  it will be the reason given for whatever moves our markets make today.
