Jay Leno owns, according to Wikipedia, 169 cars and 117 motorcycles.  Imagine, then, if he had to run over to a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, if he had to bum a ride from someone or call Avis to rent a car.  Nonsensical, no?

The United States military currently stands at 1,369,532 active duty members;  49,496 are stationed full-time in Japan;  40,463 in Germany.

Yet when there is a need for 3,000 military to go to Africa and help curtail the Ebola epidemic, the President is calling up members of the National Guard, at significant additional cost and at personal upheaval.

Kind of like Leno having to rent a car.
