Hey, What About Me?
Sprint is advertising what looks to be a great deal for family-sharing cell phones. In essence, unlimited data, unlimited talk and text, and Sprint will even help buy you out of your existing phone contract.
We saw an ad for Sprint on tv. Followed immediately by an ad for the State of New York, soliciting new businesses to move there. No taxes for ten years; not even property taxes for ten years; a subsidy for setting up business. For the newbie businesses, only.
Present Sprint customer? No deal for you.
Present New York business? No deal for you.
What about the current Sprint customers who have supported the struggling carrier with monthly bill payments? What about the current New York business owners who have paid full taxes and will continue to do so, competing against new businesses unburdened by taxes?
Seem fair to you?
