Is it better for a company to make $32 billion plus or never to have made a penny in profits?
Try to explain to the Investor From Mars why the market seems to love companies losing money over those making (huge) profits.
Wal-mart makes in excess of $30 billion in profits year after year.  Yet companies that sell limited edition luxury cars or hamburgers or just about anything over the internet are romantically bid up while those who churn out profits, dividends and share buybacks are ridiculed.  Difficult to explain/
